Rick Scott is currently in office in the Senate of the United States, and he is one of the most influential and talked about people in the current politics. He has been known to be closely connected to more than a few things that left the public in awe, and it was not always for the right reasons. Even though he is a person who does not give up until he gets what he wants, the way that he’s gotten his title is a little bit shady. His career started as the Governor of Florida, and ever since then he’s had his fair share of controversies. Keep on reading if you want to know what does Sen. Rick Scott think about Covid vaccines, and what’s his opinion about the rules and regulations surrounding the pandemic.
Opinion on the vaccines and masks
Scott has been more than outspoken when it comes to the current global issue, and on more than one occasion he has frowned upon all the rules that are instated for both vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals.
His most common statement is that people should have the right to choose and that no one should enforce the vaccination process on anyone. He has stated that all the current laws and restrictions are too strict and that they are hurting both home and international business deals.
Rick has stated that some of the rules that we currently have in place have been blown out of proportion and that all of the businesses are paying a huge toll because of them. In his opinion, people should be responsible enough to take the vaccine and respect the guidelines when it comes to the COVID-19 pandemic, but nothing should be enforced on them. He also said that by making people stay home, keep their businesses closed, or by making them take the vaccine, the authorities are hurting the privacy and the basic human rights that every American citizen has.
According to Scott Jason Cooper, Senator Scott has always been outspoken about his opinions, and he has always supported both small businesses and large corporations since his early career started as him being a businessman.
Is he vaccinated?
Since Rick Scott has been extremely loud about people having the right to choose, this begs the question if he is pro or against the vaccination. For more than a few months after the vaccines became available in the United States, Scott was relatively quiet in his personal opinion about this, and people were only speculating if he is actually anti-vax. This divided his supporters, as some of them don’t want to get the vaccine, while others believe that that is the right thing to do and the best way to protect ourselves and those around us.
Late in July Scott finally put an end to all the speculations and theories and he revealed on his social media platforms that he got the vaccine and that he urges everyone to do so in order to end the global crisis as soon as possible.
Even though Senator Scott is not against getting the Covid vaccine, he still sticks to his opinion that everyone has the right to choose, and the shot should not be mandatory.
